Palomi Schacht
Palomi grew up near Berkeley, California and moved to Rochester to attend university. She is currently an undergraduate at the University of Rochester, majoring in Molecular Genetics and minoring in Bioethics. She joined the lab in January 2024, and spent the summer after freshman year working there.
Outside of life as a student and lab member, she likes to travel with her grandfather, read science (and science fiction) books, crochet sweaters, bake and collect plants.
