We would like to wish Sonali all the best as she embarks on her next steps. Sonali has been an invaluable part of our research team the past few years. Oct 01, 2025 - Rotation student spotlight: Welcome Clarence!
Clarence is a first-year PhD student in the Pathology department with an interest in a career in industry or grant writing. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland Baltimore County as a member of the Meyerhoff scholars' program. Outside of lab, he enjoys running, learning about various metacognitive tools for efficient learning, and spending time with family. We cannot wait for all the fun science these next few months!

Zach is a first-year biochemistry PhD student. He graduated from the University of Rochester with a BS in Biochemistry in 2023 and since then worked as a research technician in the Metabolomics Resource Lab at URMC. Outside of the lab he enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and reading. After finishing his PhD, he hopes to work in industry but is not yet fully decided. We are excited to share our research with you over the next few months!
